West Side Island Tour

& Snorkeling

22, 23, 24 Travelers Choice Badge (1).png

The west side of the island is known for its luxurious resort and beautiful beaches. This tour is for those who want to explore the more developed end of the island. Spend some time on the beach and stroll through West End Village where there are plenty of small shops to find unique souvenirs. Of course your tour wouldn't be complete without observing and learning about some of our favorite land loving animals including the monkeys, sloths, and birds at a local animal sanctuary! Please Note: In support of the Honduran National Wildlife Conservations agency's recent decision to strengthen regulations regarding interaction with wildlife, this is a no-contact experience with the animals.

You'll drive through many of the the different communities along the way that make up this beautiful island. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the island and different cultures along the way! During your drive, there will be plenty of great photo opportunities as well as different shops that offer local treats and souvenirs available to you, if you would like.

You might not have heard yet, but you will soon be traveling to the home of the world's 2nd largest barrier reef - The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef! This is an experience we suggest you do not miss! Snorkeling is a favorite activity for tourists and locals alike. There is an abundance of marine life to see and each trip gives you a unique and close-up experience with the reef and animals that live there. Keep a close eye out for different types of fish, lobsters, eels, rays, and reef squid that frequently like to join our trips! Our experienced snorkel guides will help point you to some of their secret hiding spots!

Sanitized snorkel, mask, and fins provided, but feel free to bring your own! There will be changing rooms and bathrooms available before and after snorkeling.

Get hungry during your tour? No problem! Our local cuisine is one thing we take pride in the most here, and we can direct you to several different options with different menu selections and at varying price ranges that best suit you.
