FAQs
These are frequently asked questions we have been asked by our guests in the past! We hope these answers help, but if you still have other questions, please contact us!

Will I be back to the ship on time?
Aside from guest satisfaction, returning guests to the ship on time is our top priority! If we didn't get you back to the ship on time, then you would be our trouble, and as Luke says, "I already have enough troubles!" In all seriousness, we schedule more than enough time to have you back to ship with time to spare. Please follow your guide's instructions to help stay on schedule throughout your day!
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice if you will not be able to join us for your previously scheduled tour. This is particularly important for cruise ship guests so that none of our staff stands waiting for you at the port unnecessarily. We understand life happens and that your plans may need to change, we just please ask for this day's notice.
Do you offer private tours?
Your group will be in your own vehicle with your own driver. On days that there are cruise ships visiting the island, you should be prepared that many of the places you will visit during your tour will have several guests, and it is likely that you may be combined with another group at places such as the Animal Sanctuary, Snorkeling, Iguana Sanctuary, Rum and Chocolate Factories, etc. For guests that are staying on the island in a vacation rental or resort, please contact us to ensure you are booking on the least busy day possible during your stay so we can help you avoid the crowds cruise ships bring.
How do you accept payment?
We prefer to receive your cash payment in-person on the day of your tour for several reasons. Firstly, this allows us to avoid having to go through any refund process in case you are unable to make your trip with us or need to make changes. Secondly, we are required to charge an additional 22% for international fees when receiving payments by card. We prefer to be able to keep our prices as low as possible.
Will I get to see the animals?
All of our tours except for "Beach Day" includes entrance to the local animal sanctuary for educational guided tour and interaction with birds, sloths, and monkeys.
Why do I need to bring pristine bills?
The U.S. requires Honduran banks to only allow bills in the best condition to circulate within Honduras. Because of this, we please ask our guests to bring the best bills when paying. Honduran banks will not accept torn, ripped, or marked bills. Please make sure your bills are in pristine condition. This goes for any other cash you wish to spend during your visit to our island, such as on food or souvenirs as well.
Can you accommodate a large group?
Absolutely! Groups up to 30 can travel together so long as you have booked at least 2 weeks in advance. We can accommodate you with shorter notice, but your group may be split up into separate vehicles.
Do you have other activities or packages?
We have made special packages for guests including more than one of the activities we offer. Contact us to let us know what you are interested in, so we can let you know what we are able to offer for a package deal!
