The west side of the island is known for its luxurious resort and beautiful beaches. This tour is for those who want to explore the more developed end of the island. Spend some time on the beach and stroll through West End Village where there are plenty of small shops to find unique souvenirs. Of course your tour wouldn't be complete without observing and learning about some of our favorite land loving animals including the monkeys, sloths, and birds at a local animal sanctuary! Please Note: In support of the Honduran National Wildlife Conservations agency's recent decision to strengthen regulations regarding interaction with wildlife, this is a no-contact experience with the animals.

You'll drive through many of the the different communities along the way that make up this beautiful island. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the island and different cultures along the way! During your drive, there will be plenty of great photo opportunities as well as different shops that offer local treats and souvenirs available to you, if you would like. Get hungry along the way?
