Kayaking

Take a guided kayak tour on the south side of the island. Paddle your way through some of the most important trees to our island - the mangroves! Learn why they are valued and protected and see up-close all the creatures that call their roots and branches home.
Snorkeling is part of the experience too! You might not have heard yet, but you will soon be traveling to the home of the world's 2nd largest barrier reef - The Mesoamerican Barrier Reef! This is an experience we suggest you do not miss! Snorkeling is a favorite activity for tourists and locals alike. There is an abundance of marine life to see and each trip gives you a unique and close-up experience with the reef and animals that live there. Keep a close eye out for different types of fish, lobsters, eels, rays, and reef squid that frequently like to join our trips! Our experienced snorkel guides will help point you to some of their secret hiding spots!
Sanitized snorkel, mask, and fins provided, but feel free to bring your own! There will be changing rooms and bathrooms available before and after snorkeling.
In addition to your kayaking adventure, we will take you to observe and learn about some of our favorite land-loving animals including monkeys, sloths, and birds at the local animal sanctuary! Please Note: In support of the Honduran National Wildlife Conservations agency's recent decision to strengthen regulations regarding interaction with wildlife, this is a no-contact experience with the animals.
