Full Island Tour

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the recently started road construction towards the east of the island, we have made the difficult decision to limit this tour's availability only to guests staying on-island. This tour is currently NOT AVAILABLE for cruise ship guests as we know construction traffic will not allow for cruise ship guests to fully enjoy the tour as it is designed or will cause uncomfortable time crunches getting you back to the ship in a timely manner. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding this.
Get the most out of your island excursion from traveling from the west end to the east end of the island. Each end of the island definitely has its own unique sights and experiences to offer. On the east end of the island, take a trip through the shaded mangrove canals in a motorized canoe (known locally as a dory). Observe and learn about some of or favorite land loving animals including the monkeys, sloths, and birds at a local animal sanctuary. Please Note: In support of the Honduran National Wildlife Conservations agency's recent decision to strengthen regulations regarding interaction with wildlife, this is a no-contact experience with the animals.
Stroll and shop in the laid-back West End village. You'll drive through many of the the different communities along the way that make up this beautiful island. Your guide will tell you all about the history of the island and different cultures along the way! During your drive, there will be plenty of great photo opportunities as well as different shops that offer local treats and souvenirs available to you, if you would like. Get hungry along the way? No problem! Our local cuisine is one thing we take pride in the most here, and we can direct you to several different options with different menu selections and at varying price ranges that best suit you.
